Honey is a natural product produced by bees. It is primarily consists of fructose (32.56 – 38.2%) and glucose (28.54 – 31.3%) which produces the sweetness [1]. The rest is made of to about 200 substances including amino acids, vitamins, minerals and enzymes.

Honey has been traditionally used by ancient Egyptains, Assyrians, Chinese, Greeks and Romans for wounds and treatment of diseases of the gut [1].
